Born and raised in Kissimmee, Florida, Emily earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Emily joined McNamara & Carver in May 2023.
While in law school, Emily was the recipient of CALI Book Awards in both Administrative Law and Public Health Law and was recognized by the UF Law Pro Bono Program for her extraordinary amount of pro bono service while a law school student.
Emily served in leadership positions with the Environmental Law and Land Use Society and First-Generation Law Student Mentorship Program. She also served as a Research Assistant for the Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance, the University of Florida Warrington College of Business MBA Program, and the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and interned at the United States Department of Veteran Affairs and the Center for Biological Diversity.
